So Many Coffee Mugs, So Little
Time
For the real coffee lover, that cup of
coffee in the morning is only the beginning of their daily
coffee experience. The serious coffee drinker needs a
coffee mug that is constantly filled with an
adequate supply of their favorite coffee blend as they power
through their day. Inside, outside, on the train, in a car,
individuals and their favorite coffee mugs travel through the
daily grind. As just as it is impossible to ascribe one single
lifestyle to every coffee consumer, it is also true that there
is not any one coffee mug that suits every coffee
drinker. And this is a good thing really because mugs
come in many different material, shape and size variables that
create a seemingly endless array of possible mugs for coffee
drinkers to chose from.
So while it would be a seemingly impossible
task to talk about every mug available, what we can do is take
a look at a sampling of some of the most unique types of coffee
mugs on the market today.
A real unique piece of beverage holder, the
"Selector Mug," has a stainless steel selector rings that can
be twisted to show the type of beverage you want (coffee or
tea,) and the amount of sugar and milk, if any, to add. What a
great mug for an office setting where someone else regularly
gets the coffee for you.
The Brookstone Company sells a coffee mug
with a built-in stir-arm. A push of a small button on the
handle activates the stirrer. And if the built-in stir-arm ever
has a malfunction, Brookstone will replace the mug! (Brookstone
is always good that way. They replace products even if you have
lost the receipt.)
If you prefer a stainless steel coffee mug
with more of a contemporary design, then check out the WMF Kult
mug. This stainless steel mug has a satin finish exterior,
double-wall insulation and an interior that has a mirror shine.
And, to top it all off, the black plastic handle is smudge
proof and never gets hot so your hand stays cool. This mug is
classy!
Want something truly unique? How about a
doubled-wall glass coffee mug from "Bodum." And if you want a
slightly fancier mug, then an Irish Coffee Footed Glass Mug can
be a great way to serve latte or even hot chocolate topped with
whip cream.
If you are someone who not only wants to
bring your own personal coffee mug wherever you may go, but
also prefer to use your favorite coffee pods whenever and
wherever you want a good drink of coffee, then the One
Microwaveable Coffee Pod Mug Brewer, by Meletta, will suit you
just fine. You simply insert a pod into the coffee mug, and
microwave for about 2 to 3 minutes and, you have a single serve
cup of coffee using only your mug. No more stale coffee for you
any more because you can have a mug of fresh brew anywhere and
anytime you have access to a microwave.
These are just a few of the many, many coffee mugs available
from a variety of merchants both online and in stores around
the world. For the serious coffee drinker, what they drink
their coffee in can be just as important as the coffee they
drink itself.
